Marketing & Development Administrative Manager - Gulfstream Goodwill Industries
Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Scope: This is a full-time, exempt position and serves as a key team member responsible for supporting the Marketing and Development Team. This includes assisting with special events, supporting and improving fundraising efforts, along with managing a robust integrated digital and social media campaign. Candidate will have: a high level of professionalism, flexibility, enthusiasm, self-motivation, an ability to work independently, attention to detail, networking and organizational skills. This position reports to the Director of Development and includes frequent interaction with the public, board of directors, staff members, donors, vendors, and volunteers. This 40-hour per week, full-time position, occasionally requires some evening and weekend hours.
+ Assists with all development, fundraising, and special events
+ Maintains event and donor database; all information recorded within the database is expected to be accurate and up-to-date
+ Performs any range of department administrative assignments or special projects
+ Participates in any variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain a high level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies
+ Coordinates donor visits and tours
+ Designs, builds and maintains digital and social media presence by identifying and developing human services testimonials, success stories, and organizational recognition
+ Uses various digital and photographic equipment, software, and techniques
Knowledge & Skills:
+ Bachelor degree in Marketing, Public Relations or similar field, or 5+ years of similar equivalent work experience.
+ Demonstrable experience in fundraising, leading and managing databases, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
+ Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences of donor and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
+ Proficiency in Digital and all Social Media platforms, Video, Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications and donor management software (Raisers Edge)
+ Knowledge of digital and photographic equipment.
Experience, Abilities & Qualifications:
+ A minimum of 5+ years office related experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office, along with donor management software experience (Raisers Edge), digital and photographic equipment.
+ Previous administrative assistant or customer service experience
+ Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and able to work independently or as an active team member
+ Must have excellent time and project management with the ability to work under extreme pressure
+ Must be a self-starter, an independent problem solver and able to work well with others at all levels in the organization
+ Have outstanding communication skills – both oral and written along with professional phone etiquette and polished presentation
+ Have organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail in all aspects of responsibilities
+ Have high degree of discretion dealing with confidential and sensitive information with integrity
+ Ability to multi- task and establish priorities with the ability to work in faced paced office and have the flexibility to change direction as needed to meet deadlines
+ Knowledge of general office machines and telephone systems.
+ Flexibility and a willingness to perform other duties as requested, including willingness and ability to stay late on occasion and maintain a positive attitude
+ Maintain digital and social media portfolios on web site and social media for robust postings
+ Occasionally speak to businesses and community groups to raise awareness and for advocacy.
+ Valid Florida driver’s license with acceptable driving record for insurability under company insurance and ability to travel to outlying locations.
